Mechanizmy účinku frekventně používaných léčiv a jejich terapeutická hodnota - venotonika

Základním předpokladem v komplexním řešení problematiky chronické žilní insuficience (CVI) je včasná diagnostika a terapie hluboké žilní trombózy, a tím zabránění významnějšímu poškození hlubokého žilního systému jako příčiny CVI. Péče o rozvinutou chronickou žilní insuficienci je mnohaoborovou záležitostí, na které se podílejí vedle ošetřujícího praktického lékaře také angiolog, dermatolog, hematolog, chirurg a další specialisté. Terapie projevů chronické žilní insuficience je obtížná, dlouhodobá a vyžaduje značnou ochotu pacienta ke spolupráci. Vedle chirurgické léčby, skleroterapie a kompresivní léčby připadá v úvahu i použití medikamentózní léčby. Všechny používané léčebné postupy jsou paliativní.
