Inhalation devices for therapy patients with chronic obstruction of airways in the Czech market

The inhaled route is the first line administration method in the management of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and

overlap asthma and COPD syndrome (ACOS). Inhaled administration drugs directly into the airways, produced higher local concentrations

with significantly less risk of systemic side effects and rapid onset reliever medication, then oral route. Inhaled medications are available in

different devices with differ characteristics and with differ inhaler technique. Therefore continuing education of patient is very important,

training and skill in correct inhalation technique and inhalation technique must be repeatedly checked. On the education of the patients

should be participated prescribing doctor, specialized nurse and also pharmacist, which drugs and inhalation devices dispensing.
