Fyziologické poznámky ke gastrointestinálnímu traktu

Článek v přehledu uvádí základní morfologii trávicího traktu. Všímá si jednotlivých regulačních mechanizmů sekrece i střevní motility, včetně autonomního nervového systému. Ten pak ovlivněním dynamiky hladké svaloviny modifikuje transit time tráveniny, čímž v jednotlivých funkčních úsecích gastrointestiálního traktu ovlivňuje její mechanické i chemické zpracování. Motilita tak ovlivňuje i resorpci jednotlivých složek potravy, přičemž jako taková nemusí být vázána pouze na přítomnost potravy v lumen.
