Paediatric skin care

The structure of child skin changes with the child's age with each period having specific features; therefore, skin care in children requires

an individual approach which takes into account the particular periods of childhood. Complex therapy for skin diseases in children is taken

care of by a specialist, a paediatric dermatologist. The aim of the paper is to clarify important facts concerning the uniqueness of child

skin and to highlight the treatment of the most common dermatoses that can be encountered in paediatric patients.
