Ruscus aculeatus - active compounds and healing effects

Ruscus aculeatus is an evergreen plant from Mediterranean Area. Main active compounds are saponins – ruscogenin and neoruscogenin.

They are used as a chronic venous insuficiency, hemorrhoids and metrorrhagia treatment. Ruscus extract presents efficacious and safe

therapy of these illnesses.
