New advances in parenteral nutrition

The article introduces the key innovations in the field of parenteral nutrition. The first part describes new approaches in the clinical

practice, particularly new recommendations for the intake of macronutrients and micronutrients. Next, a basic overview is presented

of the current modern instrumentation necessary for safe and comfortable preparation of parenteral nutrition in pharmacies. Finally,

a new method of administration is mentioned – mobile parenteral nutrition.
