Colour and density of hair is changing in the course of ageing. With regard to esthetic value this (frequently physiological) changes have aninfluence on psychological well-being. The aim of this article is to describe basic processes – hair greying and falling down and their therapy.

Urinary tract infection in children is a common complication in childhood. With exception of early infancy UTI affects more often girls.The aim of prevention is to prevent the recurrence of UTI. Antibiotics prophylaxis is now critically discussed. In the prevention of UTIare used cranberry, probiotics and Uro-Vaxom®.

Analyzing the issues of pediatric vaccination

Childhood immunization is currently one of the most widely discussed topics of the population and the number of its opponentsis increasing. Using self-report questionnaires, we surveyed the attitude, awareness and knowledge of parents regarding childhoodimmu nization, with respect to gender, age, education and healthcare relatedness of their occupation. Our paper also deals withthe current state of obligatory and recommended childhood vaccination as well as the presence of adverse reactions afterwards.
