Medications are the most commonly used therapeutic means of modern medicine. The studies performed have confirmed that health

care provision is burdened with errors. Up to 40 % of damage in hospitalized patients may be related to medications. Therefore, issues

concerning safe medication use have increasingly been rightly discussed among both the expert and lay public. Safe medication use is

seen as prevention of damaging the patient's health during medication use and includes activities by which medication errors may be

avoided, prevented, or corrected.
